Therapies

Myotherapy

Myotherapy is a form of physical therapy used to treat specific muscular conditions, or issues in joints and surrounding soft tissue. A variety of technique can be used during treatment to improve your condition. These can include, trigger point therapy, joint mobilisation, corrective exercise, stretching, dry needling and TENS therapy.
Our goal is to help decrease pain, improve range of motion and leave you feeling better than you walked in.

There is no gliding over the skin with oils or creams.  The therapy is hands on, a sensation which is a little like stretching, gentle not painful, yet deep and highly effective.  Holds on the tissue are held for around 5-7 minutes to help try achieve changes in the tissue to take pressure off pain sensitive structures.
